The Nano Hone 1000 is the stone most closely resembling a traditional soaking stone in this line. It strikes a nice balance between the speed and general feedback of traditional soaking stone while maintaining excellent wear resistance for long service life. Similarly to the Nano Hone 400, the finish this stone leaves on wide and single bevel knives is very fine and consistent with good contrast between hard core steel and softer cladding.

This is an excellent choice as a one-stone setup for daily maintenance as long as major repairs don’t need to be done.
